Althorp House & Estate Case Study


Mangold Consultancy was recruited to run media training for Althorp House & Estate, a 500-year-old estate, which hosts commercial events which help promote a rural environment, to make a positive contribution to the local economy. As they prepared for an exhibition, expected to attract high profile media, our involvement grew to include crisis communications management and practical guidance on managing the media.

Our Role

We advised the team on how to respond to questions during press interviews. We helped hone key messages and suitable responses to a range of questions and provided strategic counsel on managing traditional press and social media scrutiny across the estate, throughout the course of the exhibition.


Our media training and communications support ensured the team were well prepared for the media launch and able to give interviews and manage press interest at all stages of the exhibition.
