Crisis Simulation Training – Engaging & Informing Teams

Crisis Management Workshop

Our client, a major household brand, asked Mangold Consultancy to deliver crisis awareness training for non crisis team staff, in different parts of the business. Teams had requested information about responding to colleagues, friends and family in a crisis and Mangold Consultancy designed and delivered bespoke workshops for 60 plus people.

Our Role

Attendees were from all levels, varying from new employees to the experienced Senior Management Team. Mangold Consultancy supported the crisis Director, to facilitate multiple workshops, combining practical theory with examples of crisis from the industry and a real-time crisis simulation. This fictitious simulation gave participants an opportunity to role play crisis management, while reinforcing the company’s existing policy.

Of the 60 plus people who took part almost all said the workshop was useful and relevant, with the crisis simulation one of the most popular elements. The participant feedback included recommendations for future use, helping the business to build their internal communications and crisis planning.

What They Said

As part of the company it is great to understand how the crisis process works, the people included and all the hard work that is done. Also it is good to understand the crisis process if some day you are part of some crisis.

Workshop Participant

This session should be mandatory. Awareness on the crisis process is essential to facilitate the understanding.
